Organisational Restructure

Dear [[firstname]],

We have recognised that as the club continues to evolve, we need to change our organisational structure to meet those developments. This year, Paul Hodgetts, our Tennis Head Coach, left us. In addition, we are soon to lose our Squash and Racketball Manager Chris Dawson. As a result of this, we have decided, after consultation with Marc Hughes, to follow the example of a number of clubs similar to ourselves. We have decided that the role of Operations Manager should be split into a Facilities Manager role and a Sports Manager role.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for House and Grounds, Bar and Restaurant, Reception, Marketing and Sponsorship, whereas the Sports Manager will be responsible for Tennis, Squash and Racketball and overseeing the Gym. The division of responsibilities will allow more time to be given to individual departments within the club, which in turn should lead to a better experience for members. As a result of these changes, there will be no need for head coaches in the Tennis and Squash and Racketballl departments.

Marc has agreed to take on the Sports Manager role and we are now actively looking to recruit a Facilities Manager. The position is for 25-30 hours per week, working hours being Monday to Friday (8.00am-1.00pm) and occasional weekends. The remuneration and benefits package is negotiable and further details about the role can be supplied on request.
We will be advertising the role shortly as we are determined to try and get the right person for the club as soon as possible. However, if you, or someone you know, may be interested in the Facilities Manager role, please send in an up to date CV marked for my attention.
