Sports Update
Dear [[firstname]],
Most of the AL Aesthetics Club Championship draws are now at quarter and semi-final stages and all the plate competitions have now been launched.
The finals will be on Friday evening from 6pm on 24th and on Saturday 25th from midday with presentations around 7pm in the studio; more details next week. On the Friday evening Gilly is offering Jacket Potatoes with a choice of fillings and her legendary “Dirty Chips”. On Saturday there will be a BBQ throughout the afternoon. Prosecco, Pimms and strawberries and cream will be on offer in the marquee and cake donations would be most welcome.
On 10th June we are showing the Men’s Wimbledon finals on the big screen in the marquee and preceding that at 11am we will be running a fun Wimbledon Whites event, bookable on MyCourts a week prior, all welcome.
The Mixed 100 Tennis tournament will be open for registration from 25th June with finals on Friday 12th August; the total age of the pairs must be 100 years or more so time to start guessing some ages!
Foggy has a couple of places left for the Preseli weekend in September and another Walk for Fun is planned for Sunday 3rd July.
A reminder that we have our annual fundraiser on 29th June and raffle prizes, lucky dip prizes and cake donations would be very much appreciated. Most of us will be departing at 7am from West Park so look out for our unique shirts designed by Steve Smith at The Studio and sponsored by Chris Wright, Paul Davies and our System Energize team as we cycle past Newbridge Crescent.
