Sports and Facility Update

I hope your body is getting used to returning to the gym or courts and that any aches and pains aren’t lasting too long.
If you would like to take part in any of our rackets or fitness sessions you can book on MyCourts or for Junior Tennis, Squash and Beginners Tennis you can book using your LTA login on ClubSpark by clicking the link and scrolling through our list of courses.

Juniors already enrolled prior to lockdown are owed 4 weeks and they started this week with this Saturday being the first of the four before we start our Summer Junior Programme in mid May.
Every Sunday we have mini squash and Junior 101 Squash at 10am which is free for junior members and only £2.50 if you bring a friend. All standards are welcome, just meet at the entrance to the squash courts, rackets are provided.
On Sunday we are hosting the Westgate Stainless WLTSC Classic on the grass touchtennis courts.
A touchtennis ranking event from 10:30am to late afternoon, singles draws, ladies draws, doubles draws, consolations draws and over 40’s draws. Plus for WLTSC member entries there’ll be a
touchtennis coaching clinic with Clayton on May 1st at 4pm on the grass courts for free.

The Franco International Vintage Tennis Club Champs are progressing well with the Plate draws now launched and finals on 15th May. We will be launching the annual Tennis Club Champs in a few week’s time, if you know of a potential tournament sponsor please pass them my details.
There is an outdoor hospitality with Bar and BBQ from 11.30am on Sunday if you wish to watch the Wolves v Burnley match. There are now two externally mounted televisions under the marquee and on the patio upstairs.
Lastly, just a reminder that member refunds need to be received by email to club@wltsc.com by 30th April.
