Padel Tennis Internal Leagues

Dear [[firstname]],

Our first club internal Padel leagues sponsored by THE SITU GROUP have now finished and with 96 players and 7 leagues, we have been so impressed with the number of matches played by the deadline, 101 to be precise, despite one of the wettest winters on record.

League Winners (To Be Included in the SITU Group Draw)

The winners of the club's first Padel Premier league was Billy Hughes and myself, Bill has only been playing Padel since September but has embraced this new sport at the club and shows what improvement can be made if you dedicate yourself to learning well (Slight bias from me!).

League 3 - Ben Lloyd and Reuben Lloyd
League 4 - Lily Hale and Jack Brownhill
League 5 - Mark Brennand and Barry Cooper
League 6 - Tom Savage and Bernard Savage

The players above will be entered into a draw to win £50 (£25 each), this will be added to the winners Club V1 membership card for use in the shop and the Bar and Restaurant.

We will also do a similar draw for all pairs in each league that have managed to play all their matches by 4th April, also to win £50 (£25 each) courtesy of THE SITU GROUP.

Next Leagues

We are structuring the next round of Padel leagues slightly differently due to the very high numbers of players. There will be a Premier League and two streams of leagues below to feed into the Premier league. These will be called Unisex Padel A and Unisex Padel B, each contain 6 or 7 pairs and are equal in levels to each other. This will allow more variety of opponents and will be a quicker route through the leagues.

It may sound complicated but the top two in each league move up and bottom two move down except for league 1 in Padel A and Padel B where only the winner of each league will move into the Premier league.

The next league will finish on 15th June so you will have around 10 weeks to play 5 or 6 matches.

Lastly, many regular players now have an official national Padel rating from 1 (Beginner) to 7 (Pro). You can register for free with Padel Levels and just need to add the club as your place to play and I can give you a provisional rating.
