Wimbledon Whites Teams and Schedule

Well, we couldn’t have timed it better; weather forecast for tomorrow is perfect and ideal for a fun afternoon of doubles.

I hope you’ve been able to find some white clothing and the Daz for a hot wash for that pearly white look.

The first-round matches and teams are in the poster attached; Team Simona is captained by Manny Samra and Team Novak is captained by Jason Mansell.

Courts are available from 1:15pm for a warmup but please be ready for your first match at 2pm (3 full sets of FAST4 tennis (First to 4 games wins the set, at 3 games all a tie-break is played to 7 points, 2 clear at 6-6).
Go straight to your court to avoid congregating near the grass bank by court 1. Your match balls will be on court, please leave them there after each match. Pairs gain a point for their team for each set won.

The second round will be a quick-fire round of one FAST4 set with pairs drawn at random so be prepared for some interesting partnerships.

The final round will see you back with your first-round partner and will be 3 more full sets of FAST4 tennis if time allows or a shortened format if we are running late.

After each match please come and see me with your score and I’ll allocate you your next round court and opponents.

It’s really important that we maintain a 2-meter distance at all times so please be mindful of this as we will have lots of people at the club and don’t be offended if I need to remind you.

Most importantly, have fun in the sun on what would have been the Wimbledon Men’s Final Day.
