PADEL COURTS ARE OPENING

Hi [[firstname]]

We are absolutely delighted to share some fantastic news with you—after much anticipation and effort, our brand-new padel courts are now ready to open!

As many of you know, this has been a long journey with its fair share of challenges, but we are thrilled to finally be able to provide this exciting new facility for our members. Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and we can’t wait for you to enjoy the fun, social, and energetic experience it offers.

We’d like to thank you all for your patience and support throughout this process. We’re confident that these new courts will be a fantastic addition to our club and a hub of activity for members of all ages and abilities.

The courts will be available to book on MyCourts from 07.00 this Wednesday morning 24th September.

Before you go rushing into booking courts please read the attached Padel Booking Rules for Members which are also posted on MyCourts.

At this stage we have yet to finalise our gated access controls so initially we will be opening the courts for Members and their Guests only.

Pay & Play visitor access will follow soon once we have ironed out any teething issues.

You will be able to hire racquets and balls at the time of booking, but for the first week they will not be available to collect from the Padel Pod (Pavilion). They will be avaialble from Reception by prior arrangement.

We have a range of Padel Racquets and accesories for sale in the shop.

To assist your timing we are installing a clock on the outer wall of the indoor courts. It will be mounted near the CCTV Camera overlooking the courts.

I am pleased to introduce our team of Padel Coaches. They are Darren Lewis, Mike Harris, Marc Hughes and Leon Smuith. At this time they are putting together a programme of taster, beginner, intermediate and mix-in sessions which will start soon.

To help you understand the basic rules of Padel here is a link to a YouTube video.

We are very appreciative of our neighbours who have been patient throughout the building process and who assisted in our noise survey. Please respect the proximity of local properties and try to keep playing noise to a reasonable level, and as always depart the site quietly.

Ellie has put together a simple guide to booking your Padel court.

If you have any questions not aswered by the Booking Rules you are welcome to reply to this email and Nikki or I will get back to you.

Have Fun & Enjoy your Padel
