General Update
Dear [[firstname]],
I’m sorry to have to report that our main club boiler has sprung a leak and requires replacing. Northern Gas Heating are sourcing a replacement after responding quickly this morning by sending an engineer. The impact will be that there will be no running hot water at the club other than in the Ladies changing rooms as they have two cubicles with electrically operated showers and the central heating will be off. I’ll keep you updated on progress, and we’ll do our very best to resolve this quickly.
We’ve had some wonderful feedback from our RAF Squash players so thank you for making them feel so welcome and for your patience when car parking became a bit of a challenge on Wednesday despite them car sharing.
The last couple of days in January saw a surge in new members joining which resulted in 40 new members including 11 full playing, two families and many under 25 and 31 members; a record month to the best of our knowledge.
Lastly, tomorrow is the funeral of Brian Thomson; Brian was the original designer of our WLTSC club logo (attached) and our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
