Dear [[firstname]],
We were unable to play the Vintage, Junior and Open Club Tennis Champs due to the club being closed however I’m very pleased to tell you that the Tennis Committee have decided to run the Open Club Champs from next week and the Vintage, Vets and Junior Club Champs in September.
Our Tennis Club Championships sponsored by Mike and Jo Richards of Howard Wright Ltd are now available to enter online in the Tournaments section of your MyCourts account and are open for all levels as we will create A, B and C level draws of singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
The draws will be made at the weekend so be ready to play your first-round next week, losers of the first round will be entered into a consolation/plate competition.
Entries are £4 for the singles and £6 per pair in the doubles.
The finals will be played on 21st and 22nd August and this will allow for holidays to be taken without affecting the tournament too much however please try your best to stick to the schedule deadlines.
The format is FAST4 with 3 long sets (Complete in an hour) up to semi-final stage when normal sets to 6 will be played and a Champs Tie Break third set. Matches should be predominantly played on the artificial grass courts which will also be blocked booked for semi-finals and finals.
