Christmas News from the Tennis Courts

As the end of the year rapidly approaches us, we still have a great deal of tennis left in the programme to get us through December.
Starting next week we have a Mix-in tournament on the evening of Monday 16th, followed by Ladies Festive Mix-in on Wednesday 18th and Mens Festive Mix-in on Thursday 19th.
After this we have the following sessions to take us through Christmas and into the New Year:
- Saturday 21st December- 2-4pm Tennis Mix In
- Monday 23rd December- 10am-12 Junior Celebration Event
- Monday 23rd December- 6-8pm Tennis Mix In
-Friday 27th December- 10am-12 Tennis Mix In & Pickleball - SPORTS DAY
- Saturday 28th December- 10-10:45am Cardio Tennis
-Saturday 28th December- 11am-12 Beginners Tennis
- Saturday 28th December- 2-4pm Tennis Mix In
- Monday 30th December- 6-8pm Tennis Mix In
- Thursday 2nd January- Junior Tennis Camp 10-3pm
- Thursday 2nd January- Rusty Rackets 12-1pm
- Friday 3rd January- Junior Tennis Camp 10-3pm
-Saturday 4th January- 10-10:45am Cardio Tennis
- Saturday 4th January- 11am-12 Beginners Tennis
- Saturday 4th January- 2-4pm Tennis Mix In
Please sign up to all of the sessions on My Courts in the normal way and, of course, the junior camps will be available on Club Spark.
2024 has seen some great tennis at the Club with 575 members booking tennis courts and many more juniors and visitors playing too. We have retained our Staffordshire Premier League Ladies and Mens titles, our ladies B and E teams won promotion, many of our juniors had successes, our Open Court offering has strengthened and, not forgetting, we were named Staffordshire LTA Club of the year.
2025 will be an exciting year, with the prospect of adding Padel and the re-surfacing of the indoor courts that will be carried out in the summer, together with our tennis programme continuing to go from strength to strength.
For now though, we thank you for your support and participation during 2024 and wish all of you and your families a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and Prosporous 2025.
