Gym & Fitness Update

Dear [[firstname]],

As we reach Autumn at the club we just wanted to send a brief email highlighting some changes in the timetable and provide a reminder of some of the options open to members.

We have 5 full time trainers at the club all providing classes and personal training. All the trainers have slightly different takes on fitness and how to get results. All trainers provide a free consultation. If PT or coaching is not for you but you require a few pointers or their opinion on your training, please come and use the wealth of experience we have, the team will be happy to help.

The latest addition to our team, Gabby, is doing very well and proving very popular in the gym and on the class timetable. So much so that we have added another class for members to have a go at. From October she will be doing a ‘Cardio combat and resistance training’ class at 10:00 on a Tuesday. She will continue to offer ‘Total body workout’ on a Sunday morning at 09:30 followed by a ‘spin and strength workout’ at 10:15. See Gabby’s profile at https://www.wltsc.com/fitness/

I would also like to mention another specialism Gabby has added to her repertoire. She has recently completed a course focussing on menopausal women, helping them feel stronger, healthier and more confident in their bodies.

Another change we are making to the timetable is on Wednesdays. Out goes Billy’s ‘Boxercise and spin’, in comes Bill’s ‘Rule of 3’. This is a descending circuit training class at 18:15-19:00. Bill is a real student of sports science and this class allows him to demonstrate his knowledge more. The first class will be on 2nd October, so make sure you book on or come and speak to Billy or myself if you want more info. This class is suitable for someone that has never trained before or an elite sportsperson, both will be challenged. All of the above, as ever, is included in your membership.

Rebecca Jenks is resuming her Thursday day time yoga session at a discounted rate to members of only £5. You can book 7 days in advance on MyCourts and the first session will be on 3rd October.

The first week in October sees the arrival of new cardio equipment in the gym. These machines are state of the art and will offer better connectivity than our current offering. They are easier to use, but should anyone need any help please ask one of the team. Please be aware that the main gym will be out of bounds for most of the day on 7th October.

In terms of events, we have 59 booked on the ski trip in May. If anyone else wants to come, I am happy to get the agents to give us another price. This trip will be epic. We have a ‘Walk for fun’ pencilled in for 3rd November. This will be a far easier route than the last couple. It will be more of a family affair, bring your kids, bring your dog and have a nice walk with us around Himley and Baggeridge park followed by a Sunday lunch at the Dudley arms. As usual we will ask for a voluntary charity contribution.

Lastly, the gym is a happy, friendly place. Everyone is welcome and I will personally write any member a program for free if they want it and promise to use it.

Stay healthy everyone.

Regards,

Foggy and the System Energize Team
