Pool Doubles Competition 2023

Good afternoon [[firstname]]

Thank you for entering our first ever pool doubles tournament!! (:

The draw is now live (thank you Thomas for your help!). The play by dates are as follows;

First round matches to be played by 19th March. At this point any first round losers will be entered into the plate event.

Second round matches (including the plate) need to be played by the 9th April. Third round matches need to be played by the 28th April (best of 5 games from semi-finals onwards).

FINALS NIGHT IS SATURDAY 29TH APRIL. There will also be a pool social before hosted by Tom. The schedule for the evening is as follows;
5pm - 8pm Pool Social (£2pp sign up on MyCourts)
8pm - Plate final
9pm - Main final

There is a paper booking sheet on the pool table to reserve your table. Thomas and Allan are writing up the rules for the competition and these will also be left on the pool table.

Gilly is also going to be opening the bar until 11pm on finals night as well as offering some food from the hot trolley for the evening. I will confirm this closer to the time.

If you have any questions, let me know (if they're pool related questions ask Allan and Tom haha!).

Not receiving Email Newsletters?

  • Login and check you email address is correct.
  • Contact Us if you changed your email address.
  • Check you spam/junk folders (and mark the message as "not spam/junk" if you find it there).
  • Add "wltsc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk" to your Contacts list or email address book.

  • Go to Gmail Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses. If "Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club <wltsc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" appears in the list of blocked addresses, select "Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club <wltsc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" and click "unblock selected addresses".

Other email service providers may have similar settings -- please follow their instructions. If not, contact their support desk and request delivery of messages from wltsc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.
