Hello [[firstname]],
Further to the government, LTA and England Squash announcements our general committee met last night to discuss the Coronavirus. We have reviewed the activities held within the club and decided to postpone or cancel all group-based activities within the club.
Therefore all tennis, squash and racketball group coaching and mix ins are suspended until further notice. This also includes our termly tennis programme from 4pm today.
A credit will be applied for termly fees where the course session has not been delivered and can be used when the next term recommences.
I have attached the tennis timetable, Squash & racketball timetable, gym timetable and the events scheduled over the next few 4 weeks.
We shall monitor this daily however we feel that at this stage the club will stay open and allow members to decide on how they stay active. Please continue to book courts individually and for lessons with our coaches but please observe the hygiene advice and guidance previously issued.
If you or anyone in your immediate family/household are unwell or showing symptoms that could be attributable to the Coronavirus, we respectfully ask you not to visit the club at the moment.
Hygiene Advice
• Wash hands thoroughly before and after activity.
• We are running low (and there are supply issues with cleaning and hand sanitising gels) therefore please feel free to bring in your own
• Use alcohol-based sanitisers following each session
• Avoid touching your face during play
• Cleaning the tennis balls before/after play is not practical; however, balls exposed to sunlight for 30 mins will destroy the virus
• Disinfect racket handles after play
• Think of innovative ways of acknowledging victory/defeat at the end of a match that doesn’t involve shaking hands, kissing or hugging. Perhaps a racket bump!
This list is not exhaustive however will support our health.

As a club we shall continue to:
• Increase cleaning at club (attached)
• Increasing the cleaning schedule at the club
1. Specifically, in gym
2. Multi touch areas
3. Bar & Catering
• Installing hand wash facilities at squash courts, next few days
• Events, timetable attached and we shall postone the club development plan workshops and EGM
Thanks
Neil Patel
