AGM Notice – Wednesday 22nd Jan 2025
Dear [[firstname]],
This is notification that this year's AGM will be a face-to-face meeting in the Studio at 7.00pm on Wednesday 22nd January 2025.
In addition I have also attached
1. The minutes from the AGM held on 15th January 2024.
2. The Board nominations for officers for 2024/2025
3. The agenda for the AGM on Wednesday 22nd January
4. The link to the club booklet and accounts

5. The proposed amendments to the Memorandum and Articles of Association
A hard copy booklet containing the annual report & accounts will also be available from the club (date to be advised).
It is now four years ago that the club adopted the current Memorandum and Articles of Association.
There have been a number of changes to the structure of the club.
In addition the board have decided there should be a Director of Safeguarding. At the moment safeguarding on the Board is managed by Judy Loader in her capacity as an “elected director”. This would then decrease the number of elected directors from three to two.
Included in the Memorandum and Articles of Association were a Facility Manager and a Sports Manager, who were both directors. As these positions no longer exist there are now two less positions on the board. Hence the quorum of directors has been reduced from seven to five.
The attached highlights the changes to the original Memorandum and Articles.
The EGM will follow the AGM, and I attach the Notice of the meeting.
