Our Summer of Squash & Racketball has been so wonderful and we still have a few more events to go. There really is a buzz around the squash and racketball courts and I hope that you’ll come down soon and take part or support in some of our classes or events.

Team Squash & Racketball Fun Tournament Mix-In’s

Thank you to everyone who has taken part, in both of our Fun Squash & Racketball Team Tournament Mix-In’s. It’s been brilliant to see so many players of all standards and abilities taking part in these wonderful evenings.

Doubles & Mixed Doubles Squash Club Championships Finals

Congratulations to our Doubles and Mixed Doubles Champions where we enjoyed 2 wonderful finals.
In the Mixed Doubles Final - Kate Fuller & Jason Smith beat Emily Vickers & Leon Smith 3-2 11-9 in the 5th set
The Doubles Final Robin Chipperfield & Dave Thompson beat Jason Smith & Leon Smith 3-2 12-10 in the 5th set.

The 2023 Masters Squash & Racketball Club Championships

The 2023 Master Squash & Racketball Club Championships are heading into the last week, with the Finals taking place next Friday 14th July starting at 6.00pm. Please come down to the courts and support all our finalist, on what will be an extremely busy night of exciting Masters Squash & Racketball finals.

Ladies Racketball & Lunch

On Friday 28th July, I will be running a fun 1hour Racketball class for players of all abilities., If you’ve never played before, no problem, I’ll teach you the rules and you’ll be playing in 10mins. It would be lovely to see lots of ladies from tennis or the gym who haven’t played Racketball before, bring a friend, give it a go. Let me show you that anyone of any standard or ability can play, and it may not be what you may have envisaged.

Once we’ve finished, we’ll head upstairs where we’ll have lunch. Cost of the session and lunch is £10.00 for members.

Junior Squash Fun Summer Tournament and Ice Cream

I can’t wait for our fun junior squash summer tournament, which is taking place on Saturday 22nd July, 9.00am – 11.00am. At Easter all entries got a big Easter Egg, this time we’ve got an Ice Cream van coming in…….yes a Mr Whippy van will be parked outside the squash courts, and all juniors who signs up to this session and plays in the fun tournament will get a free Ice Cream (99). I might get one myself!

All standards and abilities are welcome. So if you’d like to take part in our fun tournament all you need to do is contact me mike.harris@wltsc.com

Summer Squash Junior Camps

Looking for things to do with your children or grandchildren this summer, why not try one of our fun squash camps.

If you have never tried one of our camp days before why not sign up just for a morning , you can enjoy a few hours of peace (!) knowing the kids are having a fabulous time , keeping active and making new friends.

And please don’t worry if they've never played squash before , our team of coaches help all the children learn the rules of the game very quickly so they will be playing full games before you know it !

Junior & Family Squash Summer Mix-In

During the summer holidays, we are beginning a Junior & Family Squash & Racketball Mix-In. This is something I feel will be great addition to a Squash & Racketball programme.

The fun session will take place each Sunday 9.00am – 10.30am beginning on Sunday 23rd July through to Sunday 27th August, if successful we will add this to our expanding Squash & Racketball programme.
