Sports Update
Dear [[firstname]],
Yesterday we had a serious incident on tennis court 2, Roy Beddows collapsed after suffering a heart failure. Thanks to the quick action of our staff and members we were able to administer first aid very quickly which involved using our AED (Defibrillator) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Paramedics were in attendance within 8 minutes and continued to help Roy for about an hour. Roy is at New Cross Hospital on a ventilator and we send him and his family our very best wishes. In the meantime, we plan to deliver some CPR awareness training for members and would like to purchase a public access defibrillator cabinet for external installation at the club.
SEN & Jnr Development Fundraiser.
Our fundraising day last week far exceeded our expectations raising over £4,000. Raffle prize winners were Maureen Bryant, Helen Maddox, Bally Bhupa, Amun Samra, Karen Fletcher, Ceri Sedgley, Ed Cooper, Eileen Mores, Suzanne Cooper, Mr Mason and Sue Morgan. Winners and highest bidders of the online auction prizes were Steve Chilvers, Tom Watson, Jonathon Rogers and Anne Banks.
We have another busy weekend ahead with a Head demo day on Saturday from 11am to 3pm, this is an ideal time to test out the season’s latest tennis, squash and racketball rackets. If you place an order on the day you can benefit from an extra club discount.
On Sunday, England Squash are conducting a phot shoot from 11:30am to 3pm, if you would like to be involved please email Donna.Helmer@englandsquash.com
Our Beginners Squash and Tennis sessions have been very successful and will continue throughout July, you can book for the month on ClubSpark

or weekly on MyCourts (Gym/Classes section).
Our summer junior holiday camps will be available on ClubSpark by the end of the week and will commence from 27th July for 3 weeks.
