General Manager Update

Dear [[firstname]],

It’s been a very busy time with many club improvement projects completed which we thought you might be interested in.

The disabled access and upgrade work at the front of the building is nearly complete with the external chair/wheelchair platform lift being installed on Monday. Lines for the disabled parking bay have been laid and other lines upgraded thanks to Jag at Gillt Construction Ltd.

Additional electrical work to improve safety and capacity around the club has been completed and tomorrow we will be upgrading the squash court lights after a successful trial on court 2.

The divider curtains between each indoor tennis court are being replaced on Thursday and our grounds team continue to make the grounds look fantastic in addition to completing essential maintenance across our busy club.

Thank you to every one that has been able to support our weekly pizza Wednesday and last night’s quiz night which will be repeated on 8th July.

Don’t forget to pop into our shop and use your members card to access discount on all sports products.

Tomorrow it looks like some parts of the A41 between Albrighton and Tettenhall will be closed so please allow extra time if travelling for a class. We will once again be busy at the weekend with lots of UK Racketball Team visitors so please be aware that parking may be a bit of a challenge.

For those that have been following Henry Searle’s progress you might be interested to know he’s playing Dan Evans tomorrow at the Rothesay Nottingham Open https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/2024/06/11/wolverhamptons-henry-searle-at-home-back-on-the-grass/

Kind regards,
Marc Hughes
