A PADEL UPDATE

GOOD NEWS
I am pleased to announce that as of today we have been given full permission by Wolverhampton Council Planning to proceed with the construction of our 3 Padel Courts.
It has taken a while to get here and we still have a number of ducks to align before we can enjoy Padel at WLTSC, but we are on the way.
It’s been a couple of months since we dug trial holes on the grass courts, but tomorrow we will start installing temporary fencing between the remaining grass court (which Dave has lovingly cared for) and the construction area.
Our contractors do have the matter of a broken drain to repair but once that is done we will reinstate the grass court for play.
Over the course of the next couple of months there will be construction vehicles accessing the site so please be prepared to find areas of the lower car park and access routes coned or cordoned off. It is done for your safety.
Please also continue to avoid the construction site until we open it up to members once the Padel Courts are completed, which hopefully will be approximately 8 weeks.
We will keep you updated on construction progress and other matters such as court booking and gated access etc, over the next few weeks.
