Important -COVID19 Update

Dear [[firstname]] ,

We wish to notify you of an incident we have had at the club regarding COVID 19. This evening a member has notified us of having tested positive for COVID19. The member had visited the Gym and PIT without going to any other part of the club over 3 days last week. Thankfully the member had followed the guidelines, cleaned all the equipment and booked each session on MyCourts. We have been able to quickly identify through the booking system and CCTV, all those that have been in the Gym & PIT over that period and they have been contacted prior to me sending out this email.

What we have done and have planned to do :

• Called 119 COVID advice line and followed guidance

• Closed the gym as a precaution

o Re-open at 10am 29th September

o Deep cleaning in progress

• Paul Fothergill (Head of Energize fitness) has contacted all the members concerned

• Reviewed CCTV to ensure we identified areas of the gym and club that the member has visited and also anyone who had not booked into gym

• Reviewed booking system on MyCourts to identify who was booked in over the three days

• Deep cleaning the gym 630am-10am 29th September

• Purchased a ‘Fogging machine’ to help deep clean in the future

What we need you to do:

• Use the booking system for all your activities and sign in at the Bar & Restaurant to support us all. This enables us to be able to quickly contact any member should we have future need. This has been massively supportive for us this evening to contact all the members concerned

• Wear face masks indoors in hallways, corridors and when you are not involved in an activity or eating and drinking

• Scan the NHS test and trace QR Code poster as you enter to support the Government’s initiative on track and trace

We thank and appreciate your support in keeping each other and our club safe.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either of us.

Kind regards.

Neil Patel & Marc Hughes
