Padel Tennis Internal Leagues

Thank you for entering our first Club Padel League which is now live on MyCourts "Internal Club Leagues" "Unisex Padel"; we have had a great response and have 35 pairs. We’ve done our best to group you with similar standard players and we look forward to seeing the results. I’d encourage one player in each league to set up a WhatsApp group to assist organising matches as soon as possible.

PADDLE SCORING RULES
Each match consists of 2 tie break sets with a golden point at deuce (sudden death, receivers choose which side), and with a deciding Champions Tie Break (first to 10 points) if the match is 1 set all.
Submit your result as points won by each pair, score in sets and games score. Champs tie break should be shown as 1-0 and not 10-8 for example. Calculate and submit the points for both pairs as follows:
Each pair gets 1 point for turning up and playing.
Each pair gets 1 point for each set won.
The winner of the match gets 1 extra point.
Therefore scores work out as follows:
Match Result
Sets score, 2 - 0 = 4 - 1 in points
Sets score, 2 - 1 = 4 - 2 in points
There are no walkovers and unplayed matches score 0-0.

It is everyone’s responsibility to arrange matches and a reminder that you can book up to 14 days in advance (Full refund if cancelled outside of 48hrs). If you cancel an arranged match within 24 hours or don't turn up for an arranged match your opponent has the choice of rearranging the match or applying with evidence to the league committee to claim the points.

The great benefit of playing as many matches as possible is that your results automatically go onto Padel Levels which will adjust your national Padel rating from 1 (Beginner) to 7 (Professional). Padel Levels Disclaimer “ALL match results including names will be systematically submitted to Padel Levels who will rate players based on their results provided all four players are registered with Padel Levels. This is mandatory for those in the top league and highly encouraged for everyone else.
Match results will be shared PERMANENTLY with Padel Levels; League participants will not be prompted to provide consent; their match results will be systematically submitted to Padel Levels.
