Club Update from Neil Patel

Dear [[firstname]] ,

Following recent announcements by the government and changes coming into force Thurs 24 September. We have now reviewed the necessary sporting bodies and government guidelines, please read, and support each other with ensuring we follow the guidance below.

Please wear a mask at all times within the club, unless you are involved/participating in an activity.

Thanks once more for your continued support, together we will keep our club and ultimately you safe.

It is critical that everybody observes the following key behaviours:

  • Hands - Wash your hands regularly and for at least 20 seconds.
  • Face - Cover your face in enclosed spaces, especially where social distancing may be difficult and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet.
  • Space - Stay 2 metres apart where possible, or 1 metre with extra precautions in place
  • Book into each activity via MYCourts

Tennis(extract from LTA)

Outdoor tennis can continue with current guidelines:

  • Indoor tennis activity can continue for children, and organised indoor group tennis activity for adults (including coached sessions and club nights held indoors) can take place in larger numbers in COVID-19 secure venues, provided sub-groups of more than six do not mix.
    • Adult group activity will be modified to fit new guidelines

Gym & Fitness (extract gov guidelines)

  • Continue with current guidelines and booking systems
  • Organised indoor sport or exercise classes can take place at WLTSC with up to 30 people.

  • Coaches can continue to coach a single group or Juniors up to 15 or up to 6 adults, but they must not coach multiple groups simultaneously

  • Table service only, therefore please enter and take a seat with no more than 6 at a table
  • Ordering is via the Bar person coming to your table or by texting the telephone number provided
  • Each table will be numbered and have a mobile phone number for you to text to place your order. Please include your name and table number when texting your order
  • Your drinks/food order will be brought to you and payment will be taken at the table

  • Last orders 930pm and we respectfully ask you to left for closing promptly at 10pm
