Welcome Back Update from Neil Patel

Thank you for bearing with us, it’s been great to see you all over the recent weeks at Tennis (I’ve started playing) and now with the club fully re-open ,I see more of you each day.

I think the club is what we make it, a great family community in a safe environment.

I have put a short update together to let you understand our journey since re-opening 5 days ago.

We conducted a short survey when re-opening the Bar & Restaurant early in Jul, and overwhelmingly 100% of members ‘felt safe’ in the club. To further support this we had a visit from the Enforcement officer from Environmental health office yesterday. Simply.........we passed with flying colours, they were impressed with the organisation, diligence, signage, wash facilities, social distancing measures and cleaning routines in place.

Some of you may have seen the countdown videos on social media(please share to celebrate our great club and raise our profile), this has received a great deal of positive feedback and you will see the photos and video on our internal advertising screens. We will be looking at advertisers/sponsors in the near future therefore if you know anyone who may be interested, talk to me, I’m normally around.

Furthermore I will be employing Digital Marketing assistants to support our Brand identity and raise our profile, they will be editing our website and fundamentally managing sponsorship and social media streams, if you do know of anyone that may be suitable please ask them to forward their CV to me.

Update

Bar & Restaurant

  • A slow return, busier each week, however volumes are low
  • Employees, only department still on flexible furlough
  • Food available Wed & Thurs this week and Mon -Thurs next week throughout Aug.
  • Next week starts Mon-Wed half Price food on government scheme
  • Poster attached (please share)
  • Please support the club and enjoy the discount
  • A reminder to consume only food and alcohol purchased on site

House & Grounds

  • Great job getting the place ready for our members, cleaning, painting, and fixing
  • Positive feedback on cleanliness (gym, squash and changing rooms in particular) from members

Reception

  • Fully Open
  • Screen in place
  • No mask needed

Gym

  • Positive feedback on safety and booking system
  • Classes and gym usage increasing daily
  • Purchasing Marquees for outdoor classes

Squash

  • Returning slowly however daily build up

Indoor Tennis courts

  • Weather is sporadic and therefore court usage is increasing

In summary, great to be back.
