The Carver Cup
Dear [[firstname]]
Congratulations to Andrew Hepworth who became the Carver Cup Handicap Champion last night defeating the defending champion Jordan Evans 3-2, 11-9 in the fifth game. Jordan took a 2-0 lead but Andrew who was starting each game from -10, dug extremely deep to take the match to a decider. Jordan led 8-3 in the 5th but again Andrew pushed hard to get back to 9-9 and with momentum with him took the final points to win a brilliant match.
The play-off matches were just as exciting with Mike Ward take 3rd place with a 3-1 win against Paul Strothers. Pete Roberts takes 5th place with a 3-2 win against John Reynolds & Ben Lloyd takes 7th place with an incredible 3-2 win (11-10 in the fifth) against Jan Gromadzki
Congratulations to our finalists and everyone who took part in the Final event of the 2021.
Finally thank you to Henry Carver for his continued support of the wonderful event.
