The new mixed doubles and the first for 2025 are up on my courts . With quite a few additions I would like to welcome the new members , I have slotted you in where I can !
We have decided for 2025 to introduce / clarify a few rules to ensure that the leagues are fair and everybody is doing their best to arrange and play matches in a competitive but also friendly environment .
These are as follows
1 If you don't play any matches for 2 consecutive rounds you will be removed from the leagues.
2 New players or old players returning will be positioned in the league at a level decided by the league commitee considering players ability and spaces available .
3 It is everyones responsibility to arrange matches ....we suggest setting up a Whats app group to assist this ......if you consistently decline a variety of dates offered or ignore requests for dates your opponent can apply with evidence to the league commitee to claim the points .
4 If you cancel an arranged match within 24 hours or don't turn up for an arranged match your opponent has the choice of rearranging the match or applying with evidence to the league committee to claim the points .
