JUNIOR SQUASH EASTER FUN TOURNAMENT
What a fabulous morning of fun with our WOW Squash Juniors. Instead of our usual individual event, we had a team tournament where Team Leon's group won a brilliant fun competition.

Our junior programs ethos is firmly rooted in participation and having lots of fun, and this morning our juniors certainly had lots of fun. With inflatable football and darts plus a huge Connect 4.

The juniors also left with more chocolate than you can shake a stick at, a big easter egg, chocolate bunny, creme eggs, small eggs, packet of haribo and bar of chocolate......sorry mums and dads.

A huge thank you to our juniors for being so amazing, to the parents and grandparents for supporting our wonderful junior program. To Kate Corey who puts so much time in making these events so special for the juniors and to my team of coaches who are just brilliant.

Finally a big thank you to The Platform Cafe, Wombourne who so generously sponsor our junior programme and make such lovely cakes for our events.

EASTER JUNIOR SQUASH CAMP

WOW !

What a fantastic week we've had here at our Junior Easter Squash Camp.

We were so pleased to see many join in the squash fun this week and its been lovely to see some new faces join us.

The week got off to a "flying" start when the visiting RAF challenged our juniors to a few very energetic games of dodgeball. Our enthusiastic juniors, as ever, did the club proud and took great delight in taking the victory.

This week the children have been really developing their squash skills, our fabulous coaches, Leon, Emily and Ben have been working closely with the children on serves, return of serves, vollying, channel games and match play. The children have all had a great time putting these things into practice during our afternoon tournaments .

The next holiday camp is running from the 28th -30th May and is available for booking now via clubspark.

Our regular weekly squash classes resume on Wednesday 10th April and Saturday 13th April, bookings can be made online via Clubspark.

Armed Forces Inter-Services Squash Team Championships

The club was proud to host the 2024 Armed Forces Inter-Services Team Squash Championships. 75 players and guests competed in 4 events, Men's, Ladies, U25s and Masters. The Army won the Ladies,, U25 and Masters with the RAF winning the Men's championships.

WLTSC is proud to be the home of RAF Squash.

Thank you as always for your continued support, myself, the S&R committee and all the coaching team would like to wish you all a very Happy Easter and I look forward to welcoming you all on to the courts after the holidays

Kindest Regards
