Club Manager Update

Dear [[firstname]]

I hope this email finds you well.

As we head into an exciting and busy period packed with club events, I want to take a moment to thank all of you—our valued members, staff, and volunteers for your continued enthusiasm and support. This upcoming season promises a vibrant calendar full of activities designed to bring the best of what our club has to offer. As we prepare, I’d like to highlight a few areas where your attention and cooperation will be especially important, including timely event sign-ups, respect for club guidelines, and parking considerations during peak times. With everyone’s help, we can ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for all.

Mayfield Human Capital Tennis Champs 2025

Don’t miss out on the chance to be part of our exciting upcoming tennis event! With strong interest and limited spaces, we encourage all members to get their entries in early to avoid disappointment. Whether you're competing for fun or going for the win, it’s a great way to stay active and connect with fellow players. Our mixed doubles finals for the event will take place on Friday 27th June, all other finals will take place on Saturday 28th June.

Parking

We continue to experience issues with inconsiderate parking around the club, which is causing frustration for members and creating safety concerns, particularly during our busiest times. Please ensure you are parking only in designated areas, leaving clear access for emergency vehicles, and not blocking driveways or walkways. We kindly remind all members to be mindful and respectful of others when using the car park.

With warmer weather upon us, we kindly remind all members not to leave dogs in cars, even for a short time. Temperatures inside vehicles can rise dangerously fast, posing a serious risk to pets. For their safety and well-being, please leave dogs at home if they can’t accompany you outside the car during your visit.

Gym Etiquette

We’d like to remind all members to observe proper gym etiquette to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone. This includes wiping down equipment after use, returning weights to their racks, not leaving the gym door wedged open and being mindful of time on machines during busy periods. Additionally, please remember that unauthorised access not only breaches club policy but also affects the experience for paying members. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a welcoming and fair space for all.

Private Wedding Event

The club will host a wedding celebration on Saturday, and certain areas of the clubhouse and grounds will be reserved for the event throughout the afternoon and evening. While we aim to minimise disruption, please be aware that there may be increased activity and limited access to some facilities. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping make this a special day for the couple and their guests. Congratulations to Andy & Marta!

Thanks as always

Nikki Prosser-Club Manager
