This year we are supporting the Rotary Club Of Wolverhampton’s Tree Of Remembrance Christmas campaign. The campaign involves sending a donation and a short message about someone who you would like to remember at this special time of the year. In return the Rotary Club arrange for the message to be displayed on one of a number of plinths around a large Christmas Tree located in the Mander Centre atrium.
The proceeds from the donations go to a number of local charities which this year include: Wolverhampton & District MS Therapy Centre, Compton Hospice, Alzheimer’s Society and The Charitable Trust Of The Rotary Club Of Wolverhampton. All very good local causes.
I have personally donated to this campaign for a number of years remembering my late parents and late grandparents. I would urge you to think about it. You are helping others whilst remembering loved ones.
Further details on the campaign and how to apply are attached. There will also be a number of packs distributed about the club and in reception.
