Social Racketball League

We would like to set up a racketball league for those members who would like to play some regular competitive matches but don't feel they are currently good enough to play in the existing racketball leagues.

At this time I'm looking for interested members from across the club to let me know if they would like to participate in a social racketball league. The format will be worked out once we have an idea of who wants to participate.

I'm looking at two options for this:

1. Running the league in a similar format to other club leagues with a deadline by which to play matches. Players with most points go up, with least down and a new league is formulated

2. Holding the league on a mid-week morning, approximately every fortnight (could be more or less often as requested), play 2 matches in a league, beast of 3 games and stop at the club for some lunch / coffee. As before, players with most points promoted and least points relegated.

I would discuss these ideas and any others you might have on the structure with those who had shown interest and we would then agree on a preferred format.

Ideally we would start this new league in January.

Could I therefore ask that if you're interested in playing in a social racketball league, that you drop me a message or leave yourname at reception before 31 December.

If you know of someone who might be interested but is unlikely to see this, please pass the information on.

Many thanks and seasons greetings

Matt McFahn
