We have a very busy evening at the club tonight with our first Ladies Team Tennis match of the season on the indoor courts at 6:30pm. The grade 3 tournament are on some of the artificial grass courts for the final rounds. The new artificial clay courts are drying out nicely and the sand is becoming more even, initial reports are superb. Just a reminder to please drag the courts after use to keep the sand evenly spread and please remove sand from your trainers using the mats provided when leaving the court. If you need a court tonight please see Max or Nick first and they can let you know which courts available.
On the squash courts we have an over 35 team match verses Pontefract in the National Club Championships from 7:30pm, our team is Darren Lewis, Barry Talbot, and Elaine Radcliffe. If the sunshine is too much of a shock for you why not pop into the squash courts to support our squash players?
There are only 23 days left before our next big party so please pop into reception to purchase your ticket.
The fire alarm was activated yesterday, if you were here, thank you for taking the right action to leave by the nearest fire exit and to meet at the trees by court 1. Fortunately there was no fire but a break glass had been activated during a goods delivery.
