Dear [[firstname]],

Keep an eye out for the Express and Star as we have lots of articles going in to help promote the plethora of great stories and achievements at the club. Rod Willets is in the process of gathering history relating to Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club. Originally started in 1885 and moved to Newbridge Crescent in 1935. If anyone has old photos these would be really appreciated and advice on seeking further information?

Racketball and Squash Doubles (Inspired by the Commonwealth Games) is the latest offering from our committee and coaching team, book online or in the shop if you’d like to give this exciting format a go.
Plenty of talk about the importance of racket sports in keeping people fit and healthy! Living proof is WLTSC’s Keith Allcock, still ripping it up on the squash court at the age of 82! Click the link to read more!
Good luck to Darren Lewis representing England in the Over 35 Home Internationals at Cardiff this weekend.

It’s a busy start to the weekend with two away team matches tonight, the most notable being our A Team verses The Albert. Oscar Trump has been elevated to the B Team in their away match at Streetley, ably guided by Max Thomson.
Tomorrow we have our Junior Club Championships Finals Day for 2018 and also in the evening we have our Everypoint junior awards night and disco. If you’re around Saturday please come down and watch the juniors battle it out in the finals from midday.

Our Aberdovey Team WLTSC bike riding team are now in excess of 40 and meet most Sunday mornings at the club for a few training miles before the big event on 15th June.
Luke Carpenter and Liam Price are taking on the mighty London Marathon on Sunday, if you can help with additional motivation for them please click on the links and donate what you can, every little helps and

We are nearly full for the Energize v Everypoint party next Saturday so please try and get a ticket soon.

As the outdoor tennis courts get busier please remember to place your card on the booking board in the pavilion and write the time you start, outdoor courts are strictly stand and wait and not pre-bookable. If you have a match it’s best to use court 5 as you have 90 mins on that one and only 60 on all the other courts.

Keep healthy, play sport and make friends,

Marc Hughes
