Itís been a thriving time at the club with late night tennis matches and outdoor classes plus the new cycling and running club last weekend.
Squash & Racketball
On behalf of the Squash Committee Iíme very pleased to be able to announce that we were successful in our application host the West of England Regional Masters. The event is open to all club players from over 35 to over 75 and you also benefit from a discounted entry fee http://www.englandsquashmasters.co.uk/
There are plenty of matches this evening including the Menís Doubles Quarter Finals at 6pm and 8pm plus the singles semi-finals of the C plate and also the Ladies semi-finals. Thank you to Mike Richards for his continued sponsorship of our annual tournament.
On Friday we have Charlieís Camper Van serving delicious burgers plus our usual BBQ on the patio and a mobile bar near the courts. Cake donations on Saturday would be very much appreciated and the bar and restaurant will be open all day, donít forget the presentations in the evening followed by a disco courtesy of our Community Coach, Clayton Edge.
You might notice the upstairs area of The Pit being upgraded in preparation for the full refurb at the end of July.
Itís Englandís final group match on Thursday at 7pm, please note that circuits is on earlier from 6pm to 6:45pm.
Our Community Tennis Network is expanding very quickly, we now have Wolverhampton University Tettenhall College and The Royal School on board in addition to our other partners.
