Thank you for the many positive comments regarding the gym upgrade, we are virtually complete and you are very welcome to use the gym but please seek guidance from our fitness team before using the equipment. Just a reminder that Under 16s require adult supervision and that CCTV is in operation and monitored by our reception team. Itís most important that members train safely and return the equipment after use.
Squash & Racketball
There is still time to enter the Masters competition in September and a revised squash and racketball timetable will be publicised soon. An excellent addition will be Team training every Thursday evening for all team members and for those aiming to get in a team this year.
The B Team are at home this evening and are trying to secure promotion to Premier 1 and our Vets Mixed Team are away to Florence in a quarter final knockout match. The Staffs County Tennis Champs start on Sunday through to Thursday and is suitable for all levels of Staffordshire player.
On Monday at 11am our Vets team are also playing Roehampton at home in a quarter final knockout, your supported could make the difference.
Our A Team are also in action on Friday evening from 6:30pm in a nail biter of a match to try and retain their title.
We have lots of free fitness classes for you and donít forget you get discounted personal training as a member. The improved functional fitness gym includes a full squat rack, lifting platform, new lifting bars and weights plus an array of functional training equipment. There is also a peg board for those of you with amazing core strength, please ask the team for the pegs if youíd like to give it a go.
