I hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas and have manged to squeeze some exercise in between the festivities. May I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2019 and encourage you to try something new this year? It could be yoga, the Detox, Squash, Racketball, Tennis or one of our fitness classes or come and join us in the bar and restaurant especially if you haven’t been up there for a while. If you would like a different challenge, then the Aberdovey Bike Ride could be for you. Squash & Racketball
The next tournament is the Age Group Competition for Vets, Vintage and Seniors, entries are open later today on MyCourts and the finals are on Friday 25th Jan.
Sunday Boast starts this Sunday morning and is suitable for all abilities and even for people new to sport, the aim is to get parents (or grandparents) playing with their children (grandchildren) but most importantly, to have fun being active on the squash and racketball courts.
Another first – we are proud to be supporting the armed forces and are hosting the RAF Squash Championships during the daytime from 22nd Jan to 25th Jan, please support if you can.
The next Tennis class is Rusty Rackets on Wednesday at 7pm.
The next fitness class will be Boxercise on 2nd Jan at 6pm. The Energize Detox commences on 12th Jan if you need a little help to get going for 2019.
The bar and restaurant is open throughout the daytime until 4pm today if you fancy a day off from cooking?
On Thursday the back restaurant will be out of bounds whilst we replace the flooring and install some additional storage units. We have a two and three seater red fabric sofa available plus a couple of wooden storage cabinets if you know anyone that might be interested in collecting them.
