I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year.
Our new initiative Sunday Boast starts this Sunday and is for children and parents/grandparents. I’d encourage anyone who’s thinking about trying squash or racketball to give it a go. We have a range of activities planned on different courts and our coaches are always on hand to help out. It starts at 10am and goes on until 11:30. They are 45 minute sessions so if you can’t make 10am why not come along at 10:45. The first 3 sessions are free to members and non-members and equipment will be provided. Hope to see you there.
Flint & Partners Optometrists Veterans/Vintage/Senior Squash Championships
We have now launched these three tournaments (Veterans - over 40s, Vintage - over 50s and Seniors - over 60s) with the finals on 25th of January. First round losers will go into the Plate. Entry is only £3. You can enter on Mycourts or there is a sign up sheet at reception. Closing date for entries is 10th of January. There should be some great squash on display. I’d encourage you to come and take part. You’ve got to be in it to win it.

Finally, I’d just like to thank everyone who has helped with all the squash and racketball mix ins and coaching sessions over the year. I won’t mention names, you know who you are. Your support and enthusiasm is greatly appreciated and really helps makes this club what is. Many thanks to everyone who has supported me since I began in September also. It means a lot.
Wishing you a healthy and active 2019.
