We have a very busy week ahead with the marquee starting to be erected today, tomorrow Iím afraid the conservatory will be out of bounds for a couple of days as new flooring is being laid. Access to the bar can be through the studio or via the front entrance to the clubhouse. We are also upgrading the Wi Fi and internet cabling around the club over the next two weeks so please be careful as contractors will be around the club.
Squash & Racketball
Courts 4,5 and 6 are being sanded on Friday and of all goes to plan should be beck in play by the evening; please take care as these courts will be slippery for a few days as the dust settles.
The Vets Tennis tournament sponsored by Mercedes is underway and finals are all on Saturday 28th September.
A new Team Practice starts this Tuesday so bring youíre your doubles partner with you to experience some good matchplay practice.
Over 30 Team WLTSC members completed the 10k Wolf Run last Saturday at Leamington Spa, it was a superb experience and a reminder of how the general fitness levels of our team have improved over the years.
The Sporting Dinner takes place on Thursday in the marquee so please be mindful that car parking may be a little challenging in the evening. The Big Ball starts at 7pm on Saturday with carriages at 1am. With nearly 400 guests itís best to get to the club by taxi however we do have use of the school car park at the front and at the rear of their building.
We have had a record July and August with 60 new members joining, thank you for making them feel so welcome and itís been great to see new faces at our Mix Ins, Fitness Classes and in the bar and restaurant. If you have some free time tomorrow morning why not join us at circuits at 9:30am or yoga at 11am?
