Congratulations to all the WLTSC competitors that took part in the “Survival of the Fittest” Rat Race in Nottingham last Saturday; it was a fun event despite the weather and a big thank you to Foggy for organising.
Squash & Racketball
This is quite a week down at the courts with the first of the Racketball Team matches tonight and also the Warwickshire 1st Team plus a few of the early rounds of the Dave Smart Racketball tournament sponsored by Banks’s. As always please book your court before playing to avoid disappointment and to help us measure participation.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning we have coaching for the RAF Squash Development squad, in the afternoon they will be playing some matches so why not pop down and challenge a few of them?
It’s brilliant to see one of our top juniors back on court after her exams and we hope to see Anya inspiring lots of other juniors to come to the Saturday morning coaching sessions.
If you’re coming to the very popular End of Season Tennis Awards Night on 20th October please sign up as soon as possible as we will be ordering the food at the end of this week.
Please, if you use the Pit can I ask that you put the equipment back in its storage rack ready for the next person.
Gilly and her team are taking bookings for Christmas parties and festive meals plus we are also taking bookings for our Club Christmas Party on 15th December.
